Dawn and sunset while traveling from England to Portugal on the MV Explorer.
Silhouette of three photographers (Rick Hulbert left, myself center, +Albert Esschendal right) on deck 8 of the MV Explorer photographing sunset in the Caribbean Sea (between Trinidad and Bonaire). +Winston Hall taught me to always look behind because there may be a better image.
On the Way To Stockholm — Express Train Station at Arlanda Airport. Image taken with a Leica X2 camera (ISO 400, 24 mm, f/3.2, 1/100 sec).
Stern of the Vasa at the Museum in Stockholm. Composite of three images taken with a Fuji X-T1 camera and Zeiss 12 mm f/2.8 lens (ISO 800, 12 mm, f/5.6, 1 sec). Raw image processed with AutoPano Giga Pro 4, Capture One Pro 8, Focus Magic, and Photoshop CC. This was a difficult image to take even with a wide angle lens. The composite was processed with AutoPano Giga, Capture One was used to fix the perspective (keystone). Looking at where the waterline would be, it is not surprising that the ship sank on its maiden voyage. It is an amazing sight, and that it was preserved so well being underwater for over 300 years (from 1628 until 1961).
Morning View of the North Bull Lighthouse at the Entrance to Dublin Harbor With the Bailey Lighthouse at Howth in the Distance. Image taken with a Leica V-Lux 6 camera (ISO 100, 17.7 mm, f/2.8, 1/1600 sec).
